Who may register a school for the program?
We recommend that a leader of the PTA or PTO register your school, as we find this is usually the most efficient way to spread the word about the program. However, anyone from your school, or associated with your school, may register your school
Note: Stride@Schoool will only be able to accept schools within the United States.
Is my school currently registered in the Stride@School program?
Please contact our Stride@School team 800-229-6575 to see if your school is already registered.
How does my school receive credit for purchases?
Your school will receive a unique code upon registering for the program. Stride Rite will track all purchases attributed to your school’s code and give up to 10% back in the form of a check to your school.
Who can use my school's code?
Anyone who would like to support your school can use your school’s code. We encourage parents and staff to pass the code along to friends and family so they can participate, too!
How do I apply my school’s code to a purchase?
When you are checking out on striderite.com, enter your school's code in the School Code box. At this time Stride@School is an online only program.
What if I don’t know my school or forget my code?
Please email email@example.com to check if your school is enrolled or get your school’s code.
How long do I have to earn money for my school?
You can earn money for your school 365 days a year. In June, Stride Rite will send a check for the twelve-month period ending May 15. Any money earned after May 15 will be credited to the following year.
Where and when will the check be sent?
Stride Rite will send the check by the end of June. Stride Rite will make the check out to your school's PTA, PTO, or General Fund depending on the selection made upon enrollment. Checks made out to the General Fund will be sent to your principal or school director, who will decide how to distribute the funds.
How much can my school earn and is there a minimum?
Each school can earn up to a maximum of $10,000 per year. There is a $10 minimum of earnings that must be hit for a check to be sent. For example, if your school spends $100 for the entire year, then a $10 check will be sent. If your school spends $50 for the entire year, then a $5 check will not be sent because the $10 minimum will not have been earned. Amounts under $10 will be rolled over to the next school year.
Can I track my school’s earnings?
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to check your school's earnings.
What happens if I forget to enter my code when placing an order?
Please email email@example.com to let us know you need to apply your code to an order. Please include your order number and school name or code.
How do we change our school’s contact information?
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to change your school’s contact information.
How can I get others involved?
Here are a few ideas from the past year's top-earning school:
- Email parents regularly (at least four times) with your school’s code and a link to the Stride Rite website.
- Incorporate the code into another event. One top school encouraged kids to buy shoes for the school’s 5K.
