"I am considering the VALRERIE for a ballroom dance class for the summer for my 7 year old. Aside from that I think this style of shoe is a little too mature for any child under 13. I am not a fan of any little girl heeled shoe and feel that the only reason Stride Rites sales more of these and less of the age appropriate shoes for little girls under 12 is beacuse of the rush on the side of the parent or guardian to allow little girls to grow up faster than necessary."
