Rated 5 out of 5Â by Mommy of Lucy and Charlie Absolutely Amazing First shoe for beginner walkers
This Elliott shoe is absolutely amazing I tried so many shoes for my chunky one year old son who is not quite walking yet but pulling him self up and walking with help and I was having trouble finding a shoe that fit him right since he needs extra wide well I kept trying the shoes that said for early walkers well they just were not supporting him so I did some research and was reading the reviews on these shoes and everyone saying it was great for a first shoe even though it's step 3 off and running well they worked perfect for my son the first day he wore them he took his first steps and can stand so much better no more wobbly and just so stylish they support his ankles and I wish stride rite would put them in beginner walker category I bought the black pair and went back and bought the brown and white I hope they never get rid of this shoe so anyone who has a new walker could try these they are a miracle for a wobbly chunky baby like mine!!

I got these shoes for my son who is a beginner walker and they are perfect! He has a wide foot and we have struggled finding good shoes that will fit him comfortable and will be good on his feet! If he has them on he does not try to take them off like his old pair I see him feeling more confident on his walking with them. We did purchase them a size bigger since he is going through shoes every 2 to 3 months but they are great!

I highly recommend these shoes. Little one's need support in order to gain their balance and these shoes do the trick. We all wore stride rites growing up, why change what works! These shoes work!! Not too mention I got brownie points from my mother-in-law for getting these shoes for the baby. Ha! Gotta love that.
P.S. You must purchase the bells too, these hide the shoes laces. Children are smart. They will untie their shoes in a heart beat.

I had been looking for a good pair of walking shoes for my son. I am so glad I found striderite, as the shoes are great quality at a very reasonable price. My son seemed to have an easier time walking with them than his usual preferred barefoot. I love these shoes for him. They looked great with his little shorts tux, too. LOVE these shoes!!!!!

According to our podiatrist, this is one of the best shoes for adding a Thomas Heel. My daughter walks on the inside of her foot, so we are trying to get that straightened out. This is the second size of the exact same shoe that I've purchased for my 18 month old. I am pleased with her progress and so is the doctor.

I ordered these shoes on a saturday, and recieved them on tuesday. My only problem was the shoe strings. One was longer than the other. I called they shipped me out a pair of shoe strings, which was white, and the shoes are black. Once we got it right for the last time. A rep stated she will send me another pair of shoes. I love the shoes and so does my son. He has a black & white pair.
