The shoe itself is nice and made well. My son loves the lights and sounds and is excited to wear them. My only challenge is that they are difficult for him to put on by himself. The way the Darth Vader mask is situated, you have to be able to hold up both sides of the velcro and slip your foot in. At 4, he's just not coordinated (or motivated) enough to do it alone.

These are cute shoes and my son loves them, but I expect a $60 pair of shoes to last longer than 2 months! Holes have appeared in the mesh in 2 different locations on both shoes. My son's feet haven't grown and he isn't particularly hard on his shoes. This is just through average wear. This shoddy quality is NOT worth the hefty price tag.

We love seeing our son wear his Darth Vader shoes. We received a pair in wide and they fit comfortably. Our son says they are very comfortable and make him go fast. Which is a requirement in all four-year-olds. He loves the feature of Darth Vader's breathing when he presses the button on the right shoe. It would have been neat to see the feature on both pairs. The mask is a great feature and looks very authentic for a toddler shoe. It's nice that the mask also serves as the closure to adjust to get their feet in.

These shoes are adorable, very wide (which my son needs) with plenty of room. we have had only a month and the tongue is splitting on the right shoe.

My son is loving these shoes. They're easy for him to get on. He has a wide foot so that's always a challenge but the W width was perfect. The sound is exciting to him but not too loud to be obnoxious for mom and dad. Haha! And the fact that they light up when he walks is icing on the cake! Great purchase! Comfy and "cool" shoe for my son means one happy mom!
