These are the shoes that I tried to find for my twin girls last year, but they had run out in their size, and we had to get the Keds Regan II. But this year we found them early and we were successful in our purchase. I like the looks/style because they are not flashy, just simple plain white and match "everything" that you need to put athletic shoes with. I do not let my girls wear the typical bright colored athletic shoes with any outfit, it has to "match", and not stick out like a sore thumb. These definitely take care of that aspect for us. My girls say they fit well and our very comfy. The soles are a lot thicker than most, and they seem to have more "bounce cushion" on the inside than any I've seen in other brands. The charms are cute that they come with, but we take them off. So I cannot speak about if they rub the leather or fall off easily. I would give 5 stars on every category, however, 2 weeks after we purchased them, one out of the 4 shoes we have (remember I have twins), had a weird "wrinkle thing" come up over the toe area of the shoe (not where the seam is, the flat area over the top of the foot). It only happened on one of the shoes, so I am pretty sure it was a quality control thing. It almost looked like that particular shoe had been dipped in water overnight and left to set, so it "wrinkled" up a bit. And although we live in metro Seattle, it had not started raining yet for the season when this happened. AND...we had only wore them 3 times. So I'm pretty sure it was not caused by what that twin did with only one of her shoes, especially since there was no moisture around to do anything with. *I would of taken that pair back to the store, but I had already thrown away my receipt and did not want to go through the hassle of dealing with that. So I will see what becomes of this wrinkled shoe. It is not horribly bad like wrinkles on a Shar-Pei dog, but noticeable if close. We do not wear them everyday, so I'm not sure if it would be worse if we did. Typically we wear boots most days from Oct.-May in Seattle. But we usually wear athletic shoes at least 6 times per month for outfits that don't look that great with boots.
