The design of these shoes seems like a good idea in theory but the zipper is way too hard to pull up. I got these for my 2 year old and it's a struggle putting them on every time. There's an internal liner under the zipper and it's constantly getting stuck in the zipper. When you're in a hurry to get out the door and have a squirmy toddler the last thing you need are shoes that are difficult to put on. Most of the time I end up only getting the zippers up half way because it's such a hassle fidgeting with the liner.

My 4 year old has trouble zipping the zipper, leaving her frustrated with putting her shoes on. I kept thinking after the shoes wore-in a bit, they would be easier for her to put on, but no such luck. Poor design. The first Stride Rite shoe we have been unhappy with.
