Meet the original hero.
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation was founded
by Alex Scott when she was just four years old.
Alex, who had been diagnosed with neuroblastoma,
wanted to find a way to help contribute to the fight
against childhood cancer, and opened up her very
own lemonade stand in her front yard. By the time of
her death in 2004, she had raised over $1 million
and inspired a legacy of hope for families around
the world.

Each month, Stride Rite is honored to spotlight a hero who shows great
strength and bravery in their own fight against childhood cancer.
Ahzari
Ahzari loves to play with her baby dolls and be with family. She is looking forward to growing big and staying cancer free.
Sebastian
Sebastian loves going to the pool and making people smile. In the future, his family hopes he can go to school and become a policeman.
Kade
Kade's favorite things to do are dancing, playing soccer and having movie night with family. Fun fact, he has a twin brother!
